New Android market interface

Hey guys, anyone seen or tried the new Android market yet ?
Looks amazing but isn't it a little similar to the tiles Windows phone 7 have ?

What do you think ?

It does look a little like WP7. It looks cool though, I was installing it right as I found this thread so I will post in a little while when I play with it some more.

Did your market auto-update or you grab it from the net ?
My phone is rooted so i am not so sure if it will update by itself.

I grabbed it from the net. Google said it will be rolling out in a few weeks, I am not that patient. Root has nothing to do with receiving updates. Unless you have a custom ROM you will get it.

i had installed cyanogen on my phone, and suddenly this weekend, the new market appeared. not sure how it came since i thought custom roms wouldn't get the push for it.

There is also SlideME.org - find and install SAM4.3.apk on your device, and get access to another Android market. I have a few installed on my Arnova 101. My wife has SlideME, and whatever comes with the Augen Gentouch 78.

Thats normal. Mine updated by itself as well (G2x w/ CyanogenMod [Nightlies])

Guys, new market version 3.1.3, this time with Google +1 integration and PIN code.

Got to say the new PIN code function is pretty neat. Just the thing i need to protect my phone from unwanted purchases.
