    So i have an iPhone. I bought it because i fell in love. I find out that you can do all these amazing things to it. Thats where my problem comes is. Im lost in the world of installer-iBrickr-Jailbreaking,anysim,anyhow,anywho

    This is what I have

    iPhone

    At&t activated as GoPhone (prepaid)

    Version 1.1.2 (3B48b)

    Windows XP Home
    Service Pack 2

    What i want to do:

    Ringtones -
    NES Emulator
    Games and what not
    and install some of the cool apps ive seen on this site

    Explain: Jailbreaking?

    Purpose and such and what else do i need to do this.

    downgrade to 1.1.1, app unlock it and your all done.

    well I want to know if downgrading is better than actually unlocking or jailbreak the software I have now....since I was reading about 1.1.2 hacks....what exy does jailbreak mean

    to be able to jalbreak, you need to downgrade your previous 1.1.2

    jailbreak means to allow 3rd part progarms to be installed in your phone as well as all freedom to browse your files inside, except using other simcard than AT&T/ other contracted provider with Apple

    unlock means you can use any simcard in the world in your iphone

    i recomend jailbreaking 1.1.2 and having sum fun
