Help ulocking 1G 2.2 iphone

I have a 1G iphone with version 2.2 running on it.

I am running windows vista.

I would like to unlock it using Quickpwn (this is the best way correct?) This is the only software I need to unlock the phone correct?

What I have found refers to version 2.0. I have looked at the detailed instructions but the 4 programs to download to the desk top refer to version 2.0. Will this make a difference? If so what files will I need?

Can some one tell me exactly what programs I need to use to unlock my phone? I know very little about the process so feel free to speak to me like a 5 year old LOL

I am amussing by what you say, your talking about a first gen iPhone EDGE (2G).
