    Default FW 4.2.1 Missing files

    Hi Guys,
I have deleted the folders associated with the native "Maps" application, as well as "Mobile Safari" in order to remove them from the springboard.
Problem is I didn't back them up, and want them back, so if anyone can pm me that would be good!

    they are in: ROOT/var/stash/Applications.Mkm0qm

There are some apps like the native email client that will want to open Safari to navigate to email links,
and another public toilet finding app wants to open the native map application to show directions to the nearest public toilet.
Lesson learned... I'd rather not have to upgrade my fw to a non jailbroken one,
and I don't have a copy of the now slightly outdated 4.2.1 firmware.
    Cheers, Art.

Slightly outdated 4.2.1? That all depend's on what phone your using?

    Do you have shsh's saved?
Coud you not just restore to 4.2.1 or even update to a newer firmware?

I don't know how to restore it to 4.2.1 without having a copy of the firmware file.
    I have since updated itunes.

Also, wouldn't I lose a lot of settings and cydia tweaks?

Auto-Merge: So just Googling it appears fw 4.3.2 is ok to jailbreak untethered...

Yes, and to back up all cydia tweak's and app's, use either aptbackup or IBye (Both from cydia). These will back up your installed programs and features within cydia. Just remember which source's you have added. When you add a source back into cydia, it tell's you you have upgrade's (Your previously installed program's)

    And to upgrade.....here goes.

    1) Plug phone into comp and open itunes

    2)Click the restore button

    3) Tah-dah!

But berfore you do that, do you need an unlock? (to use a different sim to which the phone is tied?)
