you need books to learn C or another code capable of makign a very good game for the PSp. ALTERNATIVELY, you can learn LUA off the internet for free form places like www.luplayer.org and by fllowing the links in the "importanmt LUA Links" sticky in this forum. you can easily type up LUA code into notepad and save it and play ti on the LUA Player on your PSP.

Also C++. The HELP books do HELP. So you should get one.$85+ for a book. And its take time and patience to learn it. You cant just do it 1.2.3.

i would say that time and patience are the biggest factor. you can be a
genius, but if you don't spend enough time READING documentation and
PROCESSING what you've read, you'll never get anything acoomplished.

the biggest turning point for starting programmers is when they realize
exactly how much work goes into making something as simple as a
calculator program. like others have said, you can't just expect to jump in
    and produce squarez...

taking a course always helps, too. if you can't get any help from books, a
course will give you the basic information so that you'll be able to understand
the books. once you get the ball rolling, it's up to you to keep learning.

    good luck.

thats why i cant learn coding languages very easily. I am very smart, but when I read, it takes aq while to process what i read and if i read too much i lose some and shit. its gay. i dont pay attention to stuff ibread unless its really interesting. anyway, meybe ill be able to pay better attention if i takena class soon. o well.

patience is defeinatley a bgi factor in learnign anything, especially a new language and mroe especially a new CODING language

thanks guys... i might get a book cuz im only 15 and unless your talkin bout internet classes then i dont think that i am registerable for classes.

i just met this dude who doesnt have internet but what he does is (i forget what its called) you take apart your psp and then you learn about it and you put it back together then you mod it.... he's already got a homebrew software for his 2.1

... in other words he's got some l33t skillz. but he still updates all he does is just keeps making new versions of homebrew. he says he doesnt trust me enough yet to give me any of his software or homebrew. like a n00b like me could be some kind of hacker is byond me... o well. it must be my l33t voice he heard on xbox live (lol)

but he does do some uncool things like mod his xbox... and plays online.
he said he would show me how to do this thing were you cross 2 wires on your xbox and make it a mod so you can hack H2.

seems like a nice guy... think i should trust him?

Man, thats nothing. I wired the ECU in my car to my own homeamde piggy back and hooked it up to a jet fuel injection system with a 2nd exaust made out of reinforced titanium, which allows my car to not only hit mach speeds, but levitate off the ground and almost fly.

Hope this post teaches you something.

if he says he has hacked 2.01 then you should throw a rock at him and
never talk to him again. that's complete bullshit. the reason he won't give
you any of this "homebrew" is because it's all inside of his head.

I can assure you that he has not hacked 2.01. He probably used the version changer to spoof his version number.
