Okay, I want to start coding games for the PSP. I have aquired Visual Basic 6 and some ebooks. Should I go ahead and learn VB or should I lean something like LUA first? I need to learn C++ eventually, should I wet my feet first with LUA or is it ok to just jump right into it?

I will make a duplicate thread in the Programming section.

Unfortunatly you dont really learn syntax in LUA as much as you learn it in C++ or VB, VB is object oriented programming which means its a better language to learn on since you dont have to keep track of every command known to man on C++. LUA is a novilty programming language and if you wish to be serious about programming I would suggest going into VB or C++ since they have a real world application to them. VS LUA which only contributes to a minority of user's. Plus I have never seen a LUAScripter that was any good at programming in a way that would be bennificial in the long run.

VB is your best bet. I give it an A+ for learning codeing.
