I would laugh my butt off if you were right.

As for my guess about a year

I've been playing PSP games online for a long time on a hacked PSP and never been banned, it seems like they don't care or the MAC address spoofing stops them.

I think about half a year, yeah. But it depends mostly on how forceful they are with firmware updates. If a lot of new games require incremental updates it could be years.

After the spate of recent events, I'd doubt it will ever be hacked but, it IS Sony at the end of the day.. you could probably crack it with a paperclip and a piece of blu-tac.

Just throwing in my two cents, but I would be a tinny bit easier wouldn't it? The NGP is going to be using ARM for it's CPU right? Since JTAG will be there it's just a matter of stepping though with a debugger and finding a exploit. They've done so with other ARM devices like the iPod. So it's just a matter of time until someone does this.

I know that is the official name, it is still a bit of a habit calling it the NGP.

I love all the hopefuls with their a couple of months crap. The PS3 took YEARS to get hacked. As Ryu said before Sony learned a lot from the PS3 and its security. It will be locked up tight for a while. A hacked PS3 can do a lot but its full hacked potential hasnt been possible yet like say with the PSP. We cant even make themes with a re-arranged XMB on the PS3 like on the PSP. Most of the new PS3 games cant be played on hacked consoles because of the new keys. Even if it does get some kind of exploit its not going to be as easy as it was with the PSP.

If all the groups of hardcore modders actually make the effort to hack it it could be done within a month. But I suspect that Sony could crack down on people who use the modded systems this time and possible ban them, like they do with PS3 hackers.

    Default Pspvita

(After seeing the videos of how much power this handheld is gonna have and the capacity to have some Really good games like Say a Call of duty PSP game or a BF one, I dont really mind if it doesnt ever get hacked.)

But lets say it does: now there brining out 2 versions one with just WiFi and one with 3G on it as well .... Now my question is Will Either one of these psp's be easyer to hack than the other?

Cause with some applications the one with 3G will/might be getting for outside companines will that make it Even easyer as well????

And last What version Should WE all get?
