I have some as well but they are untested. They're just ac3 files 10 seconds or less so what could I have screwed up. I want to make a boot image to go with them though.

I listened to your AC3s, and the sound cuts in and out continually.

I added four more to mine! That FINAL WARP one is cool...

It doesn't on my end... I had to lower the pitch though because for some reason my PS3 played the sound at a much higher pitch.

If you play it on the PS3 itself it'll sound fine.

Perhaps an entire forum section for PS3 customization is in order soon? The PSP side has an entire section dedicated to various customization areas http://forums.psp-hacks.com/f111/. At the rate things are going it could be a good way to keep the PS3 customization organized.

Maybe eventually. We just have what? Themes and backgrounds which we've had forever and now cold boots.

By the way, the two coldboots I made are at a higher pitch. Sounds like they're played back at 2-3x speed but they're not. I wonder if it's FFMPEG. Are there any other good encoders? I figure Nero has one. I don't understand why it's like that. Some videos converted with mkv2vob have that problem too. And it's only after a recent update I think. Maybe something's gone wrong with FFMPEG.

I don't think it's an ffmpeg problem as I've used two different AC3 encoders and it's the same story... the PS3 plays them at a much higher pitch for some strange reason. I find it you lower the pitch by about 10% in audacity then it sounds right when you eventually port it to the PS3.

That's strange. When I play my backup of the original it's the correct pitch (I think)
