Hi guys, wonder if you can help.
I'm trying to get fuckPSN working, I've tried V0.5 and V0.6 up to yet.
I'm using filezilla and openps3ftp to write the new CA27.cer (or CA24.cer depending on which version of fuckPSN I'm trying to use). I can rename the original file but when I try to write the new custom file it transfers across at 0 bytes which I don't think is correct.
I change the PS3 network settings as follows;
- I put the IP address of my computer as the PS3's IP address (192.168.0.7)
- I have the subnet mask as 255.255.255.0
- I have the router address as 192.168.0.255
- I have the DNS as the one shown on my ipconifg of the computer (192.168.0.1)
When I do a test on the PS3 it aquires the IP address and successfully gets a connection. I then run fuckpsn on my computer but when I try to sign in I get the message 'an update is required' (currently on 3.55)
I think my problem lies with the CA27.cer not transferring across properly.
Can anyone give me any advice, it's bugging the crap out of me.
Just for more info, I'm running fuckpsn on Windows 7 that's on Parallels desktop from my iMac, not sure if this makes a difference.
Thanks in advance,
-
Run CMD and type in "ipconfig /all" and hit enter and then type "ipconfig" and hit enter (no quotes of course) and then copy and paste what shows up here.

I have run CMD for ipconfig / ipconfig/all on Windows (using parallel desktop on my iMac) and this is the result;

Just for more info, I'm running fuckpsn on Windows 7 that's on Parallels desktop from my iMac, not sure if this makes a difference. so urs would look like this on the ps3
IP Address 192.168.0.4 u never gave a ps3 a seperate ip
Subnet Mask 255.255.255.0
Default Router 192.168.0.255
Primary DNS 192.168.0.5 laptop/pc ip address running fuckpsn
Secondary DNS - 192.168.0.5 laptop/pc ip address running fuckpsn
Thanks in advance,
the ps3 should have its own ip address, the pc/laptop ur running fuckpsn on should be ps3's dns server address, so when u turn on ur ps3 and pc they will both have different ip address, not the same, the only things that should match are the ip address of the pc/laptop and the dns address, everything else should be the same as if u wernt using fuckpsn and were trying to get online normally so urs would look like this on the ps3
IP Address 192.168.0.4 u never gave the ps3 a seperate ip so this is just made up but some were in the range u will get
Subnet Mask 255.255.255.0
Default Router 192.168.0.255
Primary DNS 10.211.55.3 laptop/pc ip address running fuckpsn
Secondary DNS - 10.211.55.3 laptop/pc ip address running fuckpsn
-
I've entered the details as follows on the PS3;
IP Address : 192.168.0.50
Subnet Mask : 255.255.255.0
Default Router : 192.168.0.255
Primary DNS : 10.211.55.3
Secondary DNS : 10.211.55.3
When I test the connection I get the 'Obtain IP address' as successful but the 'Internet Connection' fails.
Also, do you think the CA24 / CA27 files being 0 bytes on the PS3 is a problem too?
Thanks,
-
The only results I get as successful with 'Obtain IP Address' and ' Internet Connection' are as follows;
IP Address : 192.168.0.10
Subnet Mask : 255.255.255.0
Default Router : 192.168.0.1 (I had the incorrect router address previously)
Primary DNS : 192.168.0.1
Secondary DNS : 192.168.0.1
My fuckPSN is saying;
fuck PSN v0.5 by drizzt <drizzt@ibeglab.org> -- http://3.ly/fuckPSN
target address 199.108.4.73:433
*** HTTPS listening on 0.0.0.0:433
*** HTTP listening on 0.0.0.0:80
*** DNS listening on 0.0.0.0:53
Is this what fuckPSN should be doing?
Thanks
-
I also get a successful with 'Obtain IP Address' and ' Internet Connection' with the following;
IP Address : 192.168.0.10
Subnet Mask : 255.255.255.0
Default Router : 192.168.0.1
Primary DNS : 10.211.53.3
Secondary DNS : 8.8.8.8

Hey, triple post, chill out.
Anyway, the primary DNS setting has to be the IP address of the computer running fuckPSN
