    Question PS3 Controller Bluetooth Pairing?

    Good evening

Not quite sure if I'm in the right forum for this, but...

I currently have my PS3 controller setup so that when
its turned on, it attempts to pair with my iPod Touch 4G.
Problem is that it continually asks for a PIN to pair, and I
have no idea where to begin figuring this out. I've tried
many of the basics, such as 0000, 1234 and so on, to no
avail. So my question is, how would one go about acquiring
    the PIN?

First off you have to know a bit about Linux and hack into the ps3 controller and get the PIN. It isn't possible because PS3 bluetooth is hidden and locked away. Look at this PDF: http://cs.anu.edu.au/student/project...%20Vincent.pdf

Thank you for the info. I was hoping that it would be possible to sniff the pin by
pairing it with a pc via USB and going from there, but I guess the research says
    otherwise.
I've read about attempts to pair and use a SIXAXIS with Windows Mobile phones
so I was hoping it'd be possible to do the same with Apple products.
