Which OFW to choose

I'm on 3.55 kmeaw and I just bought PES 2012. I have Ace Combat pre-ordered, and I got MK and Alice in the mail from Gamefly. Looking around I find that of the three in my possession, only MK can be 'fixed' to work on 3.55 because of a patch.

PES 2012 has a patch already, but I haven't seen anything to say whether it's signed with something we can use.

Right now I'm considering just updating from the PES 2012 disc. My main problem is that I don't agree to Sony's TOS and haven't used PSN since they changed it. I don't want PSN.

I'd really like to keep 3.55 and install linux but that won't help with new games.

If you want to update, do a full format of your hard drive before updating. You can then update via any of the methods available.

Once you update, you will have to accept Sony's TOS before you will be allowed to access the PSN again. In this day and age, when it comes down to newer games, CFW is losing the fight. It's your call on what you want.

Unfortunate, but thanks. I think I'll move up to 3.6x instead of 3.7x, maybe 3.6 will get cfw'd in the near future.

As for PSN, I'm not interested. If I have to google for the free dlc for games like PES then so be it, but that ps3 is mine and I'll do what I want with it thanks very much Sony. *shakesfist*
