Hi there 1st post over here so plz bare with me :)

I just jailbroke my 1st 3.55
& I installed the asbestos PKG but when I tried to run the installer it went pretty fast & said that it could not update LV2 & press X to exit

I think you have to run LV2 patcher first.

Does this still work? Everyone says there's not currently a way on psn via 3.55 cfw. Someone please clear this up.

Thought i'd give this a crack... nothing to lose, etc.

all goes swimmingly it seems, until the point where i actually start to connect.
I get a feeling that charles / the PS3 / your black magic isn't giving me a good IP address... my connection times out, and i get the error code 80710092.

any ideas?

I followed your tute to the letter. was there anything else i needed to alter / adjust within connection settings that would affect this?

The issue is the ps3-updatelist.txt. I had the exact same problem, I changed everything to EU and I got the same error, when I switched it back to UK it connected. I'm in Ireland, we're often just included with the UK, so I was putting in the wrong region.
Also, you may have forgotten to change a few other "uk"s than is mentioned in the description, read through the text and just change the others. Or, maybe you aren't meant to, IDK.

Sorry, but does this no longer work because of 3.61? It says I have to update.
