    I own all of the final fantasy games for the original Playstation. I would love to play 7, 8 and 9 on my PS3 and continue my games on my PSP when am out of the house. I have all three games playable on my PSP already, I was just wondering if it was possible to transfer PS1 save files back and forth from PSP to PS3 to PSP etc.....

    I know people are doing some amazing things with save files these days....Help me out!!! :mrgreenthumbsup:

    i think you can
    if you have a 3.40 OE+ save

    i dont have a ps3
    look at the ps3 options

    PSP 1.5 got on USA first day is was 1.5 NOW 4.01 M33-2 -> 5.00 M33-6(1.50 addon),
    Old PS3s: PS3 60GB FW:3.41(2nd ps3 YLoD, 1st, YLoD)
    New PS3:
    Slim 160gb 01-21-2011 Working
    was 3.40 OFW->3.60 OFW

    2nd PSP : PHAT 5.50 GEN-D2
    3rd PSP : Sliver 3000 Starting OFW:4.20 (NEW bought NEW on 11/28/2010)
    It a good idea to have "Hide extensions for known file types" in Folder Options(under Tool) unchecked (turn on extensions)

    well, i just saved a gamesave for a ps1 game on my ps3, i used a ps1 game disc not a downloaded ps1 game. and then i copyed it over to a flash drive.

    it saves a file in this directory PS3\EXPORT\PSV\
    the file itself is a psv file, so my conclusion is it will not work.
    i could not rip the ps1 game and convert it to eboot form, as the disc had a lot of read errors on the disc, to clarify what i think.
