    I recently got Socom FTB2 and I installed the update which appears in my memory stick when I look at my ISO's
    is there a way I can hide this somehow?

    thats never happend to me, is the socom a umd or iso.

    also if its a iso open it up with umdgen and delete the update folder

    It's an ISO, but when you go online it asks you to update for more features. Not the PSP, It asks you to update the online feature of the game itself.
    When you have finished downloading the update for the game it will appear with your iso's and homebrew in your memory stick.

    O that kind of update, sorry my bad.

    i dont think you can hide it, but you can use one of those homebrew sorters and place the socom update at the bottom of your game menu

    yeah i used a sorter and placed it at the bottom... i'd still like to be able to fully hide it if possible...
