Thankfully, the developers of Capcom's upcoming Monster Hunter Portable 2nd G for the PSP know this and will be adding an option called Media Install which puts some data on their memory stick. Theoretically, this should cut down on the much hated loading times.

So far, Capcom hasn't released a lot of details on this new feature. We're hoping that this is optional since some users might not have space to spare on their memory sticks. Still this is a pretty good move that other developers will hopefully consider adding to their games.

For those who plan on picking up Monster Hunter 2nd G, the game should be available by March 27 in Japan.

It a good idea to have "Hide extensions for known file types" in Folder Options(under Tool) unchecked (turn on extensions)

loading from UMD takes way too long. loading from Iso in MHF2 is about 6 seocnds quicker (tested with 2 fatpsp's) one using umd and one from iso. their new feature probably just makes the umd load as fast as an iso. Anyway theres a feature in MHF2 that allows background loading, I tested it out and it makes each loading screen about 1 second. But it EEEEATS Battery juice big time. I wonder if playing MHP2G from an ISO with this new feature will be EVEN quicker.... will have to wait and see.
