    Default Graphic slowdown with FFT:WotL

I recently started playing FFT War of the Lions on my PSP again, after updating to 5.00 m33-6 in the hopes that the update would alleviate the lag when during intense graphic scenes (e.g. major spells, and in some cases minor spells like the Orator's speech skills). Unfortunately it is still just lagged as ever. I've read a lot of people that have no issue, or little issue, with it, and was hoping to get a list of what configurations people are running when they have no lag.

    My config:
Playing off 4gb Sony Pro Duo, formatted to FAT32
    CPU Clock game: 333/166
UMD ISO Mode: M33 Driver (not sure this matters when playing off the stick, but I saw no differences regardless of the setting)
    US FFT Release
NA Slim (no fake region selected)

Incidentally, maybe I'm blind but I didn't see the option in recovery to enable the setting that may increase memory stick read speed, though I'm not sure it would matter anyway since the slowdown is a graphic issue moreso than how quickly it can read from the stick.

It a good idea to have "Hide extensions for known file types" in Folder Options(under Tool) unchecked (turn on extensions)

Are you playing the game as a cso or iso?

Try formatting your stick to fat16

    How to format specifying filesystem
    1. Go to Start Menu -> Run...
    2. Type 'cmd' without quotes
    3. At command prompt, type:
'format x: /q /fs:FAT' (without quotes, this is for FAT16 filesystem)
'format x: /q /fs:FAT32' (without quotes, this is for FAT32 filesystem)
(change x to your MS drive)

If asks for a Force Dismount, choose yes.
If it warns you about compatibility problems on FAT16, just ignore it.
If it asks for a Volume Label, just type anything or none at all.

That's great and all but it probably won't fix FFT:WotL's lag because the reason it lags is because it's how game is made.

Configuration / Speed up MS access: ALWAYS

I dunno about this specific game, but you definitely need to have this on when you are running CFW 5+

Formatting w/ FAT16 would actually hurt performance because the FAT "table" (forgive the redundancy) is larger. Best performance filesystem-wise is FAT32 with large clusters. (you should prob use 16KB clusters with a 4GB card)

Love, this game bought a copy of this game, on the first day. Yeah, it tends to lagg.
