I have PSP 2004 5.00 M33 and My brother has 5.00 M33-6 and i installed 865mb iso to my memory stick. and i see that data install and i did that. It spend extra about 700mb in my memory stick too but nothing change about game and menus. I cant see multiplayer menu. Just new game continue gallery download like that. If you're starting in the village, you can use the Select Destination prompt when exiting any building and jump straight to the Online Gathering Hall. Its basically where the two paths of Pokke Village come together..

Also, if it's an iso/cso, you don't really need that data install.

That's just for reducing lag when playing on the UMD. Playing an iso is faster than playing on the actual disc.

Also you didn't have to run the Data Install option either. Considering you're playing from an ISO which lives on the memstick, having additional data installed is pointless, unnecessary, and a waste of space. Also it won't make a difference to load times. That option is only useful for those playing from a UMD.
