    Default Vertical or 3D shooters?

Just played raiden project for ps1 but honestly it's not that great, seems like the arcade version of that and other shooters is always more visually and soundwise impressive.

Anyone know any really good vertical or 3D shooters for psp, ps1, or an emulated rom of one that can run close to perfect in the psp? Under 100 megs preferrable. I have silpheed, but dang that game just takes up too much space.

Yeah people get the terms mixed up with what I call the proper space shooters and those FPS and TPSs, sometimes it annoys the hell out of me.
Gradius collection and other Konami collections, Twinbee, Salamander, Parodius.
Star solider are released for the PSP, Gradius isn't vertical, it's horizontal. For ps1 just look here http://www.shmups.com/xenocidefiles/ps1.html

sadly it seems there's not many real vertical shooters. And I don't want to hold my psp at funny angles to play one.

I did find einhander and rtype delta to be quite good so I'm putting those on my memstick.

now to figure out if I can play any flash based games at decent speed.
