Default FFT: War of the Lions Problems

First of all, yes I do own the actual game, but it became damaged and unusable (I have a 5-year old brother).

    I have CFW 5.50 GEN-D

I recently downloaded a back-up copy of Final Fantasy Tactics: War of the Lions. The file came with a .bin in the folder, along with a PSP_GAME folder with various files. I have tried quite a few things, but nothing has worked. I've put the folder+file in my GAME directory, but i says it's corrupted. I then created an ISO file with these using MagicISO. Placed this in my ISO folder. It stated that the game could not be started. I switched the UMD ISO mode around, to no avail, until I tred OE isofs. This actually boots the game, but when it reaches the very first screen, displaying Square Enix, the game goes no further, and just sticks on that screen.

It is the PAL version of the game, I believe, but that shouldn't make any difference. Is there anything else I should try to get this to work?

What is the file extension of the original file you downloaded? I have a feeling it was initially an ISO that you opened with WinRar and extracted. The files you have, PSP_GAME and UMD_DATA.bin, should be in the ISO. Did you extract the ISO after you downloaded it?

It a good idea to have "Hide extensions for known file types" in Folder Options(under Tool) unchecked (turn on extensions)

    -facepalm-

I usually uncheck the ISO association when I install WinRAR, so I just assumed.
Thanks all. It's working fine, now.
