I've been to that auctions4acause site. The reason it is so cheap is cuz you aren't actually buying a PSP, it's a "blind auction" which is pretty much a raffle. You are buying a chance to win a PSP. You could actually end up spending more than $250 trying to win, but at least a small percentage of the money goes to charity.

Just to clarify how it works, take the PSP auction for example:
Max bid $16.40 (that means nobody can bid higher than 16.40)
Bid fee $9.94 (that's how much it costs to bid)
You place a bid between 0.01 and 16.40. They charge you 9.94 to do this.
    Let's say you bid 16.37.
    Highest unduplicated bid wins
    Sample results:
16.40 4 bids (4 people bid that amount)
    16.39 8 bids
    16.38 7 bids
    16.37 1 bid (yours)
    16.36 1 bid
Yours is the highest unduplicated so you win. If you win then you pay what you bid (in this example, $16.37). However, if someone else were to bid 16.37 then you'd both lose and the person who bid 16.36 would win.
They tell you right after bidding whether or not your bid is unique (unduplicated) or not. If not then you can bid again (and pay another 9.94), and see if you have better luck.

Like I said, you could try 10 times (which would cost $99.40) and still not win. Again, at least a fraction goes to charity.

ya i know that one isnt a fraud they get alot more than 250 for the psp with the bidding free and all of the 60 people bidding on the psp.

I wont try that site because it is to hard to win. You probably could do math to see what the probablity of someone else bidding the same number as u but it changes alot.

Thatbsite forces u to pay $16 to get a membership for 6 months and then they probably flood ur inbox with new deals, so, maybe, but no.

And the iPod isnt 99, its 129 for ther mini

$149.99 for PSP + $4.25 shipping + $16.95 membership fee is still < $250....assuming the site is actually legit. I never worry about spam. I just use my hotmail address (which is my spam address). If they send a verification email then I can retrieve it and they won't flood my real inbox with spam.
