Short of booting into a Linux distro, has anyone gotten to the PSP's CLI? It would be great to say that I need my PSP as a diagnostic tool e.g. ping, nmap, etc.

    f_s,
Sorry, perhaps a better way of asking is: Like in MS Windows, you can type "command" in the start menu where it says "Run" and you will get a DOS window. I was wondering if one could get the PSP to go into this mode. On some other devices, you hold one or a sequence of keys down when the unit is powering up.

I would like to use the wifi built in to the PSP to run some simple diagnostics such as pinging back to the office from the field.
