So the first thing I do months ago when getting my new PSP is update the firmware, obviously before finding out about homebrew. Then come the days and weeks and months of watching all the PSP every single day waiting for a downgrader, or homebrew on 2.0.

The SAME DAY I finally downgrade my psp I pull a real stupid move cleaning the screen with too much water and the buttons along the bottom (vol, start, home) all stop functioning.

So now I have to send it to sony for warranty service, and god knows they are going to install 2.5 or 2.01 on or it will be on the replacement I get.

    I'm cursed.

I need 1 more person for my free flat screen!!!

Everyone is right to laugh at you.

For future reference though try taking the faceplate off and putting it under a 60W lightbulb for a few hours to dry it out. You'd be surprised how much water electrical goods can take
