    umoms is a dummy file.

but really...right click....new-text document...rename it the file you need to dummy...in your iso builder you might need to remove the .txt but its not always best to use dummy files, dummy. Its best to find the smallest file of the type you are trying to remove and make a copy of it and then rename it againandagainandagain.

When you take out something which isn't required to play (like a sound file), the game will crash when trying to access it, as there is no such file. To fix this, one would use a dummy file, which is a blank or small file that takes the place of a file that you took out.

Use notepad to create a dummy file. Save it as the the name and select save as any file at the bottom.

Are there files that really do nothing at all, that can be removed with no effect at all.

    what files are they?
