Did anyone of you european users have to return his (downgraded!) broken/bricked psp to sony for repair yet?
How did they react? Did they find out about the downgrading or just replace the unit? And what firmware did the returned psp contain?

(I am asking especially the europeans since they cannot buy fw1.5 in stores and thus I guess the chance is higher for sony to detect downgrading attempts..)

Well i assume since a bricked PSP is unaccessable they can't find out how it was broken, also even if they could they wouldn't keep you waiting for a replacement whilst they examined your PSP, i'm pretty sure they'll just replace it.
