Hi, I bought a PSP online from overstock.com but fear that it won't come in time before xmas so I went out to Gamestop to purchase one as well. If the overstock.com PSP comes too late, does anybody know if I can return it to Gamestop with a receipt and unopened condition?

If anybody works or knows if Gamestop will still accept it, please let me know. I really don't like to go through the hassle of online returns. Also, I have a "C/1.51" and able to upgrade and downgrade to 1.5 from Gameworks and I have no idea what version my overstock.com is. On the Gamework receipt, it displays the Serial Number but I'm not sure if the serial number is the same for all psp's since they also had B, C, and F on display.

If anybody can provide some information, that would be great.

Thanks in advance and happy holidays to all!

you are more likely to get away with it AFTER christmas but....

shops are now matching serial numbers with receipts. the reason being is in order to obtain credit from the manufacturer, the company must prove it was sold by them.

I really did buy a PSP from gamestop with cash (well debit card) and it's an unopened box either way since I won't be needing two. Just to be on the safe side I bought one instore incase the online purchased psp didn't come in time. The people there seemed friendly. I work at the same mall where Gamestop is located so I could go in when they are slammed with customers (last shopping day) and see if I can slide through with the process.

Hopefully it's not too big of a deal. All this trouble for my little brother lol.

That's what I was wondering. I really don't want to do that but I don't like to hassle with returning online if it is late for xmas. I only intend to do this IF the package is late for xmas...then I can return the PSP I originally bought from Gamestop to the Gamestop store.

If the overstock.com PSP arrives late, then I'll have to give my brother the one from Gamestop. I don't live at the same house as he does, nor do I live in the same state. I will only be in town for the holiday and won't be able to do a swap for him.

Still haven't received my online purchased PSP...seems like I will have to return it and see if I can get it returned. Anybody else know if it's possible?
