i know alot of people program in lua but i'd suggest learning c++ and visual basic to get a real good understanding of coding in general.

Yes I totally agree, do C++

If you learn C++, any other coding class will be cake... trust me

Not exactly the same situation....but I learned C (not ++) last year (in college) and it was reasonalbly difficult. Anyway now I'm learning HTML and its really really easy to pick up. HTML is a simple language in general but knowing the basics of coding is an advantage. C++ is good.

C++ is a core programming language and used in many operating system environments. If you understand C++ then you'll understand the rest of them. I would recomend to learn the Java programming language to as its the future.
Bad bois back for good now...
