    I was wondering about PSP Bricking, how does it happen? I want to know so I can make sure I do not brick mine as I love it!

    somthing that has access to the flash can change the files in the flash causing the firmware in the psp to become corupt meaning it wont boot.

    I changed my backround several times and it worked fine with a program called PSP Personalize, BTW if I am running a game of my MS can it still upgrade my firmware without me knowing it or something?

    you cant update your firmware unless the mains lead is in so just never play on the psp with the mains lead in then you cant upgrade by accident

    Main lead? Does that mean just always dummy out the Update Directory?

    mains lead, power cord, charger what ever you want to call it as long as its not plugged in you cant upgrade the psp

    Really? Thats the weirdest thing I've ever heard, thats only off the MS though right not off the UMD?

    you cant upgrade without the charger and a certain amount of charge in the battery as if it cut out half way through the update that would brick your psp

    one way alot of people are bricking their psp's is by turning off their psp's or pulling the memstick out while updating. dont do this or you will brick.
