My analog stick is fucking up sometimes. When I don't touch it, sometimes my character will move as if I'm holding the stick down, or when I'm in a game menu, it will scroll down, even though I'm not even touching the analog stick. I did notice that if I put a little pressure with my thumb on the stick, it works fine.

I just got this PSP from Sony yesterday (refurbished) and I don't really want to waste the time to send it back out, wait for it to arrive, wait for Sony to process it, and wait for it to be shipped back to me.

Does anyone have any suggestions? Does GameStop or EBGames do repairs?

If I absolutely have to, I'll send it back to Sony.

You could send it back, but sony upgrades your psp's firmware when they get it, so say good bye to homebrew the minute u put the psp in the mail box.

mine does that too. I think all of them do that. All you have to do it move the anolog stick on the opposite dirrection and it will stop. I dont see any reason to send it to sony when all you have to do is that but hey what ever works for you.

    Could it be dirty?

If so, how do you clean the analog stick? (Not the nub, but the actual stick that's built into the PSP)
