    Hey guys, sorry but im kinda new at this;

    I need to know
    A friend told me that it is possible to actually install lets just say.....
    a GBA emulator and have the psp play the GBA rom.

    Is this true?

    I know that the psp doesnt have games like 'tetris' because eventhough that is my girlfriend's favorite game,
    it just happens to be created by 'nintendo' and that this is a sony system.

    so im just wondering if its possible?
    Also, if it isnt, then are there any of those kind of 'tetris' games available in psp?

    You can emulate many old consoles on PSP, the systems it handles best are SNES, Genesis and neogeo.

    What about the gameboy then?
    Could I emulate the Visualboy advance there?

    Also, is there any link that could guide me on these things?
    PLease provide me with the link?

    What are the chances of me getting the brick virus in that case?
    Also, im assuming that you need a v1.5 to do all these?

    Everything you need to konw about homebrew on the psp can be found here http://www.psp-hacks.com/forums/viewtopic.php?id=13074. If you want to download emulators on ur psp go here http://www.psp-hacks.com/downloads.php. Just to tell you there is no descent GBA emulator for the psp, but SNES, GB, NeoGeo, nes, and genesis work almost flawlessly. And the chances of bricking your psp is pretty remote, so don't worry about that.

    If that wasn't true, this website would be about dasies and pretty gardens.

    I don't recommend you running the VBA on the PSP, it's really slow.

    Run SNES and genesis emulators, they're the best.

    depends on what your looking for. as far as i know, the latest emulators are listed at the top. and you dont need 1.5 for this. anthing from 1.0 - 2.6 will suffice.

    if your looking for the SNES emu, i hear there are problems with the later ones, and the older ones are perfect. look for the one written by "Y"

    also, if your looking for a guide on how to use homebrew, check the tutorial section of these forums.if you have any further questions, post under them.

    oh it looks like the snes loader that's used is different from that to snes emulator
    I was under the impression that it could run the snes emulator as well?

    Eg.
    Snes = Zsnes or Snes9x

    For the rom, just use the normal rom right?
