Can anyone upload the original startup sound for the psp, I wanna change my windows startup sound to that one, but can't seem to find the file anywhere.

there's a 1.5 dump in the downloads section. open opening_plugin.rco with pspmenu edit and extract the audio, then use MF Audio to convert it to .wav .
all the tools you need are in this pack

thanks killaj, but I'm still not sure what to do with the pspmenu edit. I open it and it says <SELECT A FILE FIRST> and I can't seem to do anything, Do I need my PSP for this??

there is an opening_plugin.rco in the files you gave me, do I need to download the 1.5 dump?

Sorry, I'm a bit confused, all I need is the sound.

all the boot sound stuff is on the right. there's a button with 3 dots "..." to browse for the opening_plugin.rco file you want to midify. once you select the file, press "extract audio". it will extract the .vag file for the sound. use MF Audio to convert the .vag to .wav . i dont think i should have had to explain that...

yeah your right, I was just being dumb again, nice one killaj.

EH? I try using it as my windows start up sound, but instead of the psp startup noise it sounds like a car starting or something.

OMG I'm so dumb, obviously I need to use the one from the 1.5 dump, got it working fine, thanks again.
