    canīt anyone write software to lock the update function with a password... so that you canīt accidentially start the firmware update ...

    we dont need it. we use version fakers to make the psp think it's on 7.5 or something to stop the updates. use X-Flash to do it

    With xflash u can disable the shit, it wont start and instead "Update" u see "Disabled"

    yeah i got my network update saying "disabled" and put version 6.66 lol
