Does anyone else get this problem when running Devhook while on browser??.Is it normal cause when I use it for everything else it doesn't get hot right away.I used to run 2.0 off the flash memory before I downgraded and it would heat up but like and 1 hour or so after I first starting using it.Now its takes minutes to warm up where I have to shut it down..Would it help to erase older files like the 2.0 and 2.5 firmwares and the X-5 folder? Open to any suggestions, even if I am told not to use it at all and give up browser for good. But not returning to Sony!!F-SONY!

its just the cpu is there its normal as long as its not geting burning hot your doing no damage its cause the psp is normaly clocked at 222 and if your using dev hook or something to emulate firmware you probly have it set to 333 making it heat up more

yeah using devhook @ 333 and with wifi makes that side of my psp warm up abit, and even the ms duo itself. isn't a danger unless like said its actually burning (very unlikely)

WiFi seems to heat up the PSP ALOT! I never really use WiFi but when I was browsing the internet I noticed it.

yeah, think I won't use the wifi anymore. Not really worth to deal with it anyways since I got a lap. I'll try just running Devhook for its ability to load games from now on.

it does the same thing on mine more when i use 333mhz w/ wifi or just regular 222 if I leave it on long enough. I left my wifi on for hours pluged into the a/c adapter and just let it get hot to see if anything'd burn out but it all works fine still.

I noticed tho newer psp's don't seem to get as hot quite as fast but it happens to most of them I think

This happens because the wifi device inside the PSP is by the mem stick slot,a dn when using it to go online, it will heat up. This is natural.
