What's the difference between PSP made in different countries?

From eBay, it's stated that the ones made in JAP have BRIGHER screen~
    Is this true?

Id just like to clerify with someone~
Besides, how many countries made psp anyways?
And which ones are the best?

Im not so 'brandy' in a sense that it HAS to be made in japan~
i dont mind getting one made in china if its JUST as good~

All PSP units are the same, JAP PSPs don't have a brighter screen, they were just made by the company Sharp.

Other screens are made by Samsung.

    There is no differance.

there probably is a slight difference, but its not worth the import - don't waste your time, just get a north american one.

hmmm so that means other then the difference in region, there's not much of a difference in terms of screen brightness?

    what about the adaptor settings?
If i purchase one from america, wouldnt the psp require 110V instead of 220v?

Im keen on purchasing a psp NTSC from states but yeah im just worried about this as im in aussie which uses 220v

Nope, the charger has a built-in voltage converter. I use my charger (Irish one) in an American socket with just a plug adapter. No voltage conversion neccessary. You can also get a PSP battery from, say, Japan and it'll work in an American one.
