I was wondering if we were to somehow figure it out wouldn't Sony just make a new one? Or would there be a way to use the old one to find out the new one? I know it probably won't happen, but I was just curious and was wondering.

if it were figured out.... everythign would be unlocked. for they cannot jsut cancel out the old one for then older games would not play, so we would be set if it were figured out.

that is all an inference i have made, if i am wrong plz correct me

Oh yeah they probably would have to allow you to have it otherwise you couldn't play any of the older games on it, but there may be a possibility of them creating a new one and keep the old one, but only allow the old one to verify UMDs. Something like that I don't know becuase I am not a programmer and this is the best guess your average person could come up with. I'm thinking that your pretty much correct and that they couldn't do much.
