Now first I havent tried this so please no flaming.
What you would do is open up your psp and remove the flash chip.
Close it back up and send it to sony.
    Then they should repair it.
When ey turn it on thell be like WTF.
thell try everything and probebly notice that the flash chip is gone.
they will most likly put notherone in and up grade it.
Ok so now youve got it back. Open it back up and remove the one they put in.
Then just put yours back in. or if they neve put one in there in the first place its even better.
    Would this work?

no. sony is not stupid to put in a new one if they found it missing..... they will just send it back to you and say "you stole your own flash chip, you deserve to FAIL!!"

they are not stupid, i called them to ask if it can be repaired..

the guy automatically asked me what # do i have on the warranty sticker i said it was gone. he said "oh after that's removed it is no longer a sony product, theres nothing we can do." then i just hung up...

    mmmhmmm...
