Sony recently sent out a survey to Ratchet & Clank beta testers, and after a series of expected questions about the game, it moved on to more... interesting matters. One question asked users which feature they find to be of least value in the system, and can be eliminated. What?! There's absolutely no reason to get rid of any of PSP's features, even if they're sparingly used. I know I use every single feature listed in their survey, but the one I could probably live without would be the ability to view photos (but how will I add wallpapers to my system?).
Why the HELL would you eliminate any features from this "multimedia device"? The mo the betta

if anything, maybe the IR sensor... except for IR Commander, there's no use for it.

I use the RSS feed with my own feed that I brodcast, so I want to keep that.
    The LocationFree player is useless.
And honestly, I never use the Photo funtion except to set backgrounds. (Which X-Flash can do)

And I use the IR port with IR Shell and the Universal Remote! Why would you remove it?!
I wouldn't be able to control my TV and my DVD player with my PSP! I use it a lot.

It a good idea to have "Hide extensions for known file types" in Folder Options(under Tool) unchecked (turn on extensions)

Because the Flash is pretty much full now, so the only way to add new features is to remove the old ones.
Unless you never want anything new added to it.
