mabe theres some way to flash a recovery prx and a modified pspbtcnf_game.txt with recovery.prx and then put the 1.50 pbp in the recovery folder because it formats the flash like a sce update. just a thought I think some one with a u.p. should try.

*Sigh* another one of these topics... Btw, what's "recovery.prx"?
Anyways, assuming it's a module which contains the recovery mode (I always thought it was in vshmain.prx):
    1) Editing pspbtcnf_game.txt is useless, as that is only loaded when you run a game (I THINK). You want pspbtcnf.txt (if it's in vshmain.prx, I don't think even this would work)
    2) The updater checks the firmware version

    Nice try, but sorry...

Really? I always though it was in psbtconf.txt in the kd folder of 2.71SE as this is code not plain text as it should be. confusing
I finally updated my sig, can\'t thing of anything decent to put it in though

the *.txt file are just sort of *.ini files of windows..it tells the psp which modules to load.. so basically the recovery module is a prx file.. (il bet it's the systemctrl.prx)

Anyway, if it were that simple, it would have been done by now. I know, some of the really great ideas often come from thinking simple, but this one seems too simple to have been missed.
