    i was wondering something why sony is blocking homebrews by each new fw they provide
    i think it is because of iso loaders and such pirating
    but there are still cool things other than iso loaders like emulators for diff consoles (GB , GBA , Genesis , SNES etc.)
    so can't sony provide such things in thier firmwares
    any suggestions?

    Sony may get sued by like Sega, Nintendo etc

    I think that is why they TRY to stop emulators and stuff.

    It's simple,
    Sony ***** and ******* and ****** and least ****** oh not least ******.
    ***** Sony dont like homebrew, and **** Sony dont want to get sued by all the other companies.

    So that was **** simple right?

    Leaving a path to homebrew leaves a path for ISO loader, something sony doesn't want.

    ...another thing, homebrew allows the PSP to be more useful. Sony doesn't want that, as the more useful the PSP is, the less incentive people have to buy the games - meaning Sony gets less money.

    I follow your logic, but I don't know how true this is. I mean, the PS3 supports linux, right? That makes the PS3 more useful.

    Xyiety is and shall always be.
    I don\'t care about your firmware history.

    Obviously its all about the "piracy issue" ...

    PSP History: 2.6-> 2.71-> 1.5-> 2.0-> 1.5-> 1.5CFW + DH0.46 = 1.5CFW/2.71EMU ------
    -->3.02OE-B -----> 3.03OE-B/DevHook 0.51.0101 = CustomFirmware and never bricked!
