    They will!

replace the battery and battery charger and see if it'll start charging again.

hahaha... Im damn sure they will....
as soon as they read the "2.71 SE-C"... they will even smash the usb thing and the MS so you cant mess with the flash anymore... lol

probably not the last firmware, but a very recent one....

nooooooo thats so gay! i was trying to make my own battery charger and i think had to much volts so i think i blew sumthin. it wont charge, but it still turns on as i have some battery left. when i take out the battery still nothing happens when i plug in the charger. this will wreck a whole years work of making my psp sick! and $400 as now my psp will be very boring! :(

true, buy a new one or try to find someone or maybe a friend with a psp and use his charger to see what it gives :)

Sending a 2.00 Fw PSP - downgrade then upgrade - (you look like an innocent PSP user who doesn't know he has the most easily downgraded firmware, and just doesn't know about/doesn't care about firmware updates) may deter them from updating your firmware, or at least make it so they don't cripple your PSP to homebrew for that very reason. That or hex edit (saw a guide somewhere) 3.02 OE-B/A to read just 3.02 in the system settings, and it may fool your average chinese SONY worker.

To be honest I'm not sure if what they do is legal, at least not where I am at (swe).

    - Try changing battery/charge though
    - Downgraded 2.5 factory Black PSP running 3.90 M33-2 -
