    I recently upgraded to 3.02 OE-B from 1.5

    I have installed the recovery folder from Chaos' installer, is this all I need to do?

    Was thinking about changing my fonts and icons, but if I get a partial brick I want to make sure I can recover...

    :)

    Thanks

    if you installed the recover folders from the installer CZ made then your set...
    If you ever brick it then you can hardboot into recovery menu and start the 1.5 recovery...

    PSP History: 2.6-> 2.71-> 1.5-> 2.0-> 1.5-> 1.5CFW + DH0.46 = 1.5CFW/2.71EMU ------
    -->3.02OE-B -----> 3.03OE-B/DevHook 0.51.0101 = CustomFirmware and never bricked!

    wait.. does this mean AFTER the custom firmware install you hit the install button and install a recovery mode?

    you dont need to install the recovery files before you think you semi-bricked. After you semi-brick, just start recovery mode, and install the recovery files. Recovery MOde has a toggle USB option, so your safe.

    I'm confused now...

    I have a 2gb stick and I know the recovery files are about 17mb but this doesn't bother me.

    So by installing recovery folder, im good to go in the event of a semi brick and i won't have to do anything else with files, just go into recovery and downgrade?
