    Ok i am kind of confused there is alot of people crazy about the psx emulation does psx refer to ps1? Or is it the thing sony realeased with a location free player dvr and it played ps1 or is psx a tottatly different format because i want to dump my ps1 games and convert them with the pops software but i dont know if it will work and what programs do i use to dump my psone games i tried alchol 120 but it always gives me errors and i have also tried iso buster i want one kind of like the one for the mac that automaticaly dumps and converts it to an EBOOT.PBP for windows.

    PSX means PS1^^ For the converting, look through the news at the main page of psp-hacks.com, a bunch of GUIs for popstation are there. It's kinda confusing with the shortcut PSX. Orginally the PSX is the thing you are talking about, but (AFAIK) in Super Nintendo times, Sony and Nintendo worked together to create a PlayStation eXtension for the SNES. Nintendo somehow breaked the contract or whatever with Sony, so Sony created the PlayStation as there console.
