Buy an armor case for it, try not to drop/scratch it, clean every once in a while..don't force anything too hard while playing like the buttons, analog..

1.) Activate the psp and let it run consistently, especially during cold weather to keep the system warm.
2.) When you play ISO, use no UMD emulation. In anyway try not to make the UMD drive read all the time, this will deplete the hardware performance overtime.
3.) Use the USB 2-in-1 cable to charge your psp, even though it's slow, but the low input voltage would make your battery last longer (Except when your flashing the psp, always use the AC adapter)
4.)Don't use the sleep mode. Just like any other mechanics, keeping them on for a long period of time always result in shorter life spans.

    I hope these help

the logitech case is good, ive had it as long as my psp.

with a rubber just put three small dops of blu-tac along the top front bit of rubber coz yes... it dose sometimes fall out.

and i can of compressed air will be good to, just to geep away the dust every now and then

if you still have the strap on it make other ppl that use the psp use the strap

for "2.)" I assumed that you have Custom Firmware 3.03 OE-B (it wouldnt be reasonable not to have CF if your ISOs gamer), and, you play ISO games. It's the configuration where you enter recovery mode and Enable the "Use No-UMD" funtion. So then you do not need a UMD to load ISOs.

Well of course if you're playing a UMD disc you can ignore this part. But it would be wiser to make ur UMD into an ISO and load it off from memory stick.

I see. Well I guess what you wanna do is to upgrade your 3.02 OE-A to 3.03 OE-B
