    what is the point of the mac address

    PSP History : TA02 psp ~> 2.5 ~> 2.71 ~> 1.5 ~> 3.03 OE ~> STOLEN
    NEW PSP: Slim (FFVII ED) ~> 3.6 ~> 3.71 M33 (did it without a fat psp )

    Its like sony's name for every psp they make.. (but some people think its a way for sony to track ur psp)<but i dont think thats ture<

    Yeh you're right sony isnt gonna do that because people dont like sony much, and if they do tracking sony will be death :P

    MAC addresses are used in wireless networks! A router can be set to
    only allow connections from certain MAC adresses. Blocking wankers
    who sit outside and use your conection. A MAC list can be use with
    encryption like shitty WEP and pretty good WPA.
