I noticed recently that a small crack has appeared on my PSP located just below the logo and above a screw on the front side. Has anyone else encountered a similar problem with their PSP's? A friend who also has a PSP has the same problem at the same place, which made me wonder if this was a common fault down to a design flaw?

At the moment the problem is not too bad, but I might need to contact Sony to ask if I can get a replacement panel or buy a 3rd party kit.

I got something simular. It's a tiny crack I only recently noticed that is right above the centre screw. I've never unscrewed the psp and I don't treat it like crap so I dunno where it came from.

it's above the screw yeah? a small crack that doesn't reach the actual front of the psp. took me a while to notice it. doesn't really bother me really.

Yeah mine has one by the center screw on the bottom of the faceplate. It's not huge but it's noticeable if you look hard enough. Been planning on getting a different faceplate sometime anyways but meh too cheap to atm.
