Sony doesn't allow 2.80 / earlier to use the 4/ higher mem sticks. Guess why?

Just trying to notify you guys that you have another reason to hate sony, and like 3.03OEb

Are you trying to put forward an argument? Cause I totally don't see the point in this thread.

Yep, Sony purposely and secretly modified all the firmwares that were created before the 4 GB(+) Memsticks were even produced, let alone available, even though the FW's in question were installed in customers' PSPs... Matter of fact, I almost caught the sneaky-ass Sony Ninja that altered my PSP, but he was too quick.

You, Sir, are an idiot. But you have a high post count, congrats?

Microsoft didn't allow computers to have partitions bigger than 4GB on OSs previous than Windows 95. OMG HAX! That's just the company evolving with the technology man. When the PSP got released such thing as a 4GB card didn't exist, so it wasn't supported. When it got released and they noticed it wasn't working well on the PSP they just fixed it in a firmware.

Firmware updates are not all about destroying homebrew you know? Also, if one hated Sony one should hate their PSP. I don't like Sony. I think they've made some bad decisions in the past and weren't too focused on the PSP being a good handheld console. Instead they opted to make it the "killer portable media player" in which it failed. Other than that, I believe they did a great console and are slowly atoning for their sins (hopefully) by getting better things on it (FFVII on PSP is awesome!) and well, this year we saw some really good games for it. I have the ISOs of all, yet the ones I truly enjoyed (Daxter, Killzone, LocoRoco, and MGS:PO) I'm buying as soon as I get money.
