you should download PSPtheft or something like that. If someone steals your psp and goes into USB mode, the application will send you an email of the person's ip address. Its not great but better than nothing.

what can you do with an ip? maybe enter it in an ip locator website and know the area they are in, but nothing too specific.

or maybe call the cops and have them do something about it? im guessing no, but i dont know

The cops can trace an ip to a location, also if the person has their ip changed it's not the best for ya.

And chaos zero, what are these lock tools?

thats basically it. Im not sure how the cops will react once you explain it to them though lol. Sometimes the IP locators give false results.

    PSPassword Protect v2
    PSPassword Protecter v2

    Changelog

    *Added Support for Custom Password
-- Warning, there is no way to recover you lost password, don't forget it
*Added a config file editor - Edit config on your PSP anytime
*Added a password editor - Can be any 4 digit combination
*Added option to remove custom firmware in recovery mode
*Strengthened security by hiding the password in the hex bytes of an unknown file

    --Installation
Make sure you uninstall your custom firmware, and you uninstall version 1.
Put the PSP folder in the root of your memory stick, replacing all other files. Don't rename any files.
Run the program called "Flasher". It will install all the files needed.
*Note: The default password is 0000.
You can then delete the "BP2" and "BP2%" folders.
Now run the program called "Password Editor". Enter your custom password.
Now run the program called "Config File Editor". Choose your options and save.
*Note: if you select to run extra PRXs in the config file you must name then in this format:

    moduleX.prx

The "X" representing a number 0 - 9 depending on which option you selected in the editor. You must place these exta PRXs in the PSP/SYSTEM folder.

**WARNING** I am not responsible for ANY damges to your PSP. This program writes to the flash and has the potentiel to render your PSP useless. Use at YOUR OWN RISK.
