My psp was 2.71 TA-082. I downgraded it to 1.50 with Dax's downgrader.
I upgraded to 3.10 OE. It has been freezing a lot - over 20 times so far. :(
This happened in other Dax firmwares too - 3.02 OE and 3.03 OE.

I have tried re-installing 3.10 OE too. It hasn't helped.

My psp has been freezing just about everywhere - XMB, USB mode, web browser, and UMD are some places.

I don't want to stay in 1.50 either - no ps1, and I don't like having to use devhook to use umds and the web browser

Is anyone else with a TA-082 having problems with it freezing? Is there any way to fix it?

Buy it a miniature hot water bottle :)

Format your memory stick and then try re-installing again, but do it by hand don't use someone elses .dxar file.

Do the format memory stick thing first to make sure it hasn't developed a temporary glitch. And don't forget to back up first
I finally updated my sig, can\'t thing of anything decent to put it in though

    I made my own data.dxar
I formatted my mem stick and ran chkdsk on it.

    Nothing fixed it.

Maybe it has nothing to do with the downgrader and your PSP is just faulty? (ie. requires warranty stuff)

It worked perfectly before I downgraded and updated to Dark_AleX custom firmware.

Try upgrading to normal 3.03 or 2.71 or w/e, then see if it freezes on normal Sony firmware. Maybe your PSP just hates DAX :p

Scribble = Idk, if someone randomly punched in the STOMACH it wouldn't really hurt, especially if it was a girl. I think though, it's because I have lots of stomach muscle and that my stomach would automatically flex.

if i'm not wrong, the registry fix comes with all TA-082 downgraders, or even the easy downgrader for 2.80FW released by Calo.
Try going down to 1.50FW den back up to 2.80FW then downgrade back to 1.50FW.

Or if youre still on OE-C just restore the Registry backup you should have made before hand ;)
