If you used your warrenty, and sent Sony a broken psp, did they send you a psp back that you could downgrade at the time?

How long does it take for the new psp to get to you?

Does Sony have an option where they send the new psp first, then if you don't send them the bad one back within like a week or so, then they charge you for the new one?
If you send it back within the time they want, then it's free if you have the warrenty.

I know Nintendo does this with DS lite. I've done it before.

    no
what happens is:you give them your psp(ideally at a sony centre/shop),they ask for a reciept(to see if its still under warrenty) and they send it off,if it can be repaired they will send you a refurbished one(thats what happened to me and my friend) ands free if you have a warranty but if you dont it costs round 50euro to get it replaced/repaired

If you tell them the serial number, do you still need the reciept?

Is the 3 weeks including time it took for you to ship the bad one?

I've never sent a brick to Sony (never bricked), but I heard that Sony makes you sign a contract that allows them to upgrade you to the latest firmware. So, if you send it in, you'll probably get 3.11. Fucking Gestapo.

You should send it into www.colourful-zone.com.
