    the hole where u put the headphones is broken thats why no sound comes out of my speakers,my question is if i buy new speakers from ebay will they work or do i just need to replace the headphone thing and where can i find one

    the headphone jack shuld not afect the psp speakers.

    I'm not suggesting ur a dumbass but are u sure u don't have the psp on mute

    Is the jack broken inside the the PSP? I don't get it...

    The headphone jack should not be the reason why there is no sound coming out of your PSP.

    Maybe it's a software problem, not a hardware problem? If you have custom firmware, try using recovery mode.

    i know what the problem is (or i think i do)
    the headphone jack is shorting out making your psp thinking the headphones are in - hence no sound
    just open it up and make sure there aint no wires touchin where they shunt be, if needed remove the headphone jack altogether
    dont think changin the speakers would make any diff
