I need to buy a new UMD drive for my PSP. It finally shit out on me after a nasty fall onto my hard wood floor :(

Im looking to purchase and install the part myself, but i cant seem to find a reliable site. Every site i have been to so far gives me an "Expired certification" notice. Is there any place besides ebay that i can go to get a complete new UMD drive? Im in the the good ol' "U S of A" so a website thats based within the states would be great.

    Thanks in advanced

*EDIT*Oh and none of that "just upgrade to custom firmware" bullshit. I've already got that. What i need is a UMD Drive. Mini-rant over.

What is it that it'll need, a new motor, a new lens, or a whole new drive. I can give you sites where you can buy that stuff separately, but eBay will be the best case if you are goning to buy a whole new one. I definitely recommend eBay, it's hard finding a whole UMD drive at 18 dollars. http://cgi.ebay.com/Sony-PSP-UMD-dri...QQcmdZViewItem

That's REALLY good. To buy a motor and laser off some websites cost almost $100!

I have a spare UMD drive from my friends bricked TA-082 psp. Might be able to sell if it you give a good price (Decent condition backplate, drive slot, umd spring, and fully functional umd reader) you would have to just put it all together yourself since its all in seperate peices.
